AdvertSuite
My personal favorite. It's the "new kid on the block". However it's incorporated most of the top features from other spy tools. And has some awesome search tools that you can't find anywhere else. And finally, you can still get this SAAS app for a 1-time purchase price
I would definitely recommend the Front end offer for Facebook Ads, along with the first upsell which will get you Google, Instagram, and YouTube
This is the one I will be teaching
Pros:
Advertsuite shows you exactly what ads are working NOW (and what are NOT) so you don’t waste money on ads that don’t work
Over 3 million ads available from over 35 countries.
Advertsuite will show you ANY competitors running ads along with their landing page in 1 dashboard so you can see what works and replicate.
Visit the actual live Facebook ads from the dashboard.
See competitors Facebook ads by keyword, advertiser, location, etc.
Cons:
Certain keyword searches have limited results. However they are adding over 10K Ads to the database everyday
to get Facebook, Instagram, Google, and YouTube you'll need that first upsell. However, this is a 1-time payment instead of monthly like the other spy tools out there.
Price: 1-time purchase $67 front end offer, and $77 for upsell 1 with Google, Instagram, & YouTube (I recommend both of these)

PowerAdSpy
PowerAdSpy is a true Facebook ads spy tool. The reason I say this is that it allows you to see a competitor ad’s target audience age, interests, and geography. If you own a Shopify store and are interested to see what your Shopify competitors are up to, PowerAdSpy has a massive database.
Pros:
Over 6 million ads available from over 15 countries.
Visit the actual live Facebook ad from PowerAdSpy’s dashboard.
See competitors Facebook ads by keyword, advertiser, location, etc.
Cons:
The basic version has a lot of missing features.
to get Facebook, Instagram, Google, and YouTube you'll be spending $249/mo
Price: Starts at $49/month (very limited search features)

Adsova
Adsova boasts of a huge database of over 500,000 ads. Now that gives you a competitive advantage because you know what other advertisers’ strengths are. Unfortunately, Adsova doesn’t offer a free version but all plans come with a $1 trial.
Pros:
Adsova updates its database with new ads each day.
The database combines text and visual ads.
Cons:
No free demo to show you an overview of how the tool works.
Only has Facebook timeline ads and sidebar ads in the Wise package
Price: Starts at $99/month (Wise Package)

Free Tools
Facebook’s “Info and Ads” Tool
Because of Facebook’s efforts to increase transparency, they released a tool called Info and Ads. While this tool was mainly created to show users the active ads that brands are running, this puts you at an advantage.
Now, you can spy on competitors with a click of a button. There’s no faster (and completely free) way to find out what makes their Facebook ads work. Just visit your competitor’s page to get started.
Pros:
Great for start-up businesses; gives them a leg up over the competition.
Use geographical filters to check whether your competitor runs ads in your location and other locations.
Cons:
Competitors can also audit your ads.
You won’t be able to see a specific ad’s likes, comments, and shares.
They can flag your ads as inappropriate for no reason.

Swiped.co

If you create copy or images for FB ads, you’ll need to rely on already-successful pieces out there. Every passionate creative keeps a swipe file. Don’t have one?
Swipe.co has a great library of examples. To date, it has 481 ad inspirations categorized as Modern or Classic.
Pros:
Various niches to gather ideas from.
Brief explanations to help you understand what makes an ad effective.
You can request a specific ad if it’s unavailable in the current collection.
Great weekly newsletter of ad ideas. Definitely suggest signing up
Cons:
There are very few actual "Live" Facebook ads.
