Alyss Heart is Wonderland's princess. In herqueendom imagination is the main source ofpower. She's turning seven when her evil aunt Reddbreaks in her palace disturbing the peace ofwonderlanders, and robbing her mother's reign.She's forced to flee Wonderland entering our worldand meeting new people such as Queen Victoria'syoungest son, Leopold, or famous author CharlesDodgson. In the meantime, her fellow citizens backin Wonderland are planning a rebellion againstRedd. They hope they'll see Alyss again as theleader of their rebellion. To do it successfully Alysswill have to cross the looking Glass Maze.

Main characters
Alyss: she's a beautiful girl "she was going togrow into a beautiful girl" p. 123. In our worldshe was called "Odd Alice" p. 149. But later shebecame "a thoughtful, well-read young woman,with opinions on a variety of topics" p.163.
Dodge: Alyss' childhood best friend. She laterfell in love and saw him as a "handsome andbrave and kind and intelligent" p. 112 with"almond-shaped eyes, a nose that hadprobably been broken more than once, anddusty, disheveled hair" p.192.
Hatter Madigan: Alyss' and her mother'sbodyguard. He's one of "Wonderland'selite security force" always "stoic andalert" p. 22.
