This situation reminds me of a similar one in themovie Inception. The son of a famous businessman feels bad for himself as he doesn't think hisfather cares for him. He tries to make thebusiness flourish to win his love, but it turns outthat the father didn't want that.

Lisbeth Salander is a brilliant character in myopinion. I love her isolated attitude towards people,and how she filters the glances that she getsbecause of her appearance. Her way of dealing withpeople is such an enjoyment to read, because she issuch a smart woman. pg 173
