Grammar of nouns

A noun is a part of speech in English grammar used to represent names or pronouns of people, things, places, abstract concepts, etc. Nouns can be divided into two categories: common nouns and proper nouns. Common nouns include countable nouns and uncountable nouns. Countable nouns represent things that can be counted, while uncountable nouns represent things that cannot be counted. Proper nouns refer to specific people, things, places, etc. Nouns can serve as subject, object, predicate, and other components in a sentence to represent the main concept or action executor in the sentence. The number and gender of nouns also vary, such as singular and plural, masculine, feminine, and neutral. In addition, nouns also have case changes, such as nominative, accusative, possessive, and so on. This is a mind map about noun grammar in English. The map contains six major branches, namely: Common Nouns, Abstract Nouns, Countable Nouns, Countable Nouns, Property Nouns and Collective Nouns. Each branch has sub branches for further detailed description. Suitable for people interested in English grammar.
