Who is Amelia Earhart

Amelia Earhart is a worl renown pilot, global figure, and global insipration for all genders. Her story genuinely inpsired people all around the world, and she's known for being a world class pilot and setting 2 world records that still stand to this day.

Amelia Earhart was born in July, 1897, in Kansas.

Amelia Earhart lived in Kansas, then Chicago, Canada and California.

Family

Amelia Earhart was born into a loving family with 2 parents. Soon after she was born, Amelia's sister, Muriel was then born.

After her father lost his job it caused a divorce between her parents. But later on her parents got back together in 1920.

Childhood

Amelia had a tough life. Through out her childhood she was born into a loving family with her sister but then she went through a divorce. After the divorce Amelia went with her Mom. They moved from Kansas to Chicago. But later on she moved to Canada but soon after moved to California and that's where her story really starts.

Her story

In 1917 when Amelia moved to Canada, for the first time she saw hurt soliders in the war. Once she saw the soliders she was then inspired to become a nurse to help the hurt people fighting for their country. For the first time ever Amelia took a plane ride over Los Angeles and she was thrilled and knew instantly that she wanted to learn how to fly a plane for herself. After being inspired to fly her own plane she quickly began to take jobs in order to pay for her flying lessons.She was taught by a woman pilot and shortly after flying under her, in 1927 she recieved a phone call which would change her life forever. In 1928 Amelia Earhart became the first woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean in 1928. She quickly became popular and set another world record for flying over the Atlantic Ocean in only 13 hours and 30 minutes. And her last achievement was that she was the first woman to fly alone from Hawaii to the USA.
