Active Dielectrics Concept Map

This is a concept map of active dielectrics. Solid, liquid, and gas dielectrics are the three types of dielectric materials. They can be polymeric, such as nylon, pvc, rubber, Bakelite, asbestos, and wool, or ceramic, such as glass, silica, mica, porcelain, and so on, in solid form. Mineral insulating oils, synthetic insulating oils, and tec are examples of liquid insulating oils. Air, nitrogen, sulfur hexafluoride, inert gases, and other gases exist in gaseous form. Based on their usage, dielectrics can be classed as active or passive dielectrics. When a dielectric is exposed to an external electric field and actively accepts the electricity, it is referred to as an active dielectric. As a result, active dielectrics are dielectrics that can easily adjust to store electrical energy. Examples: Piezo-electrics, Ferro-electric, etc. In EdrawMind community, you can get more templates related to physics or other topics in study, work and life.
