MindMap Gallery Pneumonia Nursing Mind Map
This pneumonia nursing mind map depicts the causes and treatments for pneumonia disease. Pneumonia is a bacterial, viral, or fungal infection of one or both lungs. The condition also causes inflammation in the lungs' air sacs, known as alveoli. The alveoli fill with fluid or pus, making breathing difficult. Pneumonia, both viral and bacterial, is contagious. This means they can be passed from person to person via inhalation of airborne droplets from a sneeze or cough. It does not disseminate from one person to the next. These types of pneumonia can also be acquired by coming into contact with surfaces or objects contaminated with pneumonia-causing bacteria or viruses, as illustrated in this diagram.
