EMT

a degree is not needed, but certain certifications & licenses must be obtained

EMT is a very fast thinking and fast pace job where the pressure is even higher, and I don't work very well under pressure

Acupuncturist have to be very precise and I would be too nervous that I would insert the wrong needle into the wrong spot or hit a nerve that not's supposed to be hit

Nurse Anesthetist have a huge responsibility in making sure their patients are safe during their procedures, personally I don't think I would be comfortable having that much responsibility on myself with having the life of someone who is asleep in my hands

Occupational Therapist

requires a bachelors and masters degree and doctorate in occupational therapy to become one

Physical Therapist

to keep licensure must take a certain amount of hours in continuing education courses

prevent, reduce, or eliminate impairments, increase mobility and safety, and improve physical movement

work in outpatient, inpatient rehab, acute care, home care, schools, etc settings

Athletic Trainer

include primary care, injury and illness prevention, etc

work settings include: colleges and secondary schools, industrial, professional sports, clinics and hospitals, etc

need to be very attentive and be able to quickly access and evaluate the athlete and administer appropriate first aid

Athletic trainers have to think very fast and I don't think I could handle the pressure of having thousands of people watching me care for someone (example would be in a sports setting like a football game)

After learning more about occupational therapy it has led me into an interest of more of what this job consists of. Once researching and watching the video I feel like this totally aligns with the career I intend on pursing and I would consider this job after more research.

Physical therapist work more on the prevention of increasing mobility in one and that is something I am not overall interested in. I feel like this job only focuses on one aspect of a patient (physical movement) which is something too specific of a practice for me to want to do every day.
