Usage of Sodium Hydroxide

When using sodium hydroxide, operators should wear protective clothing, gloves, and goggles to avoid inhaling the dust. Sodium hydroxide should be stored in a sealed container in a dry, cool place, away from acidic substances to prevent neutralization reactions. Operations should be carried out in a well-ventilated area, avoiding direct skin contact. In case of skin contact, gently wipe away the sodium hydroxide with a dry cloth and then rinse immediately with plenty of water to reduce skin damage.
