MindMap Gallery Exploring the Roots of German Language
This is a mind map about the origin of German Languages. The map contains three main branches, namely: EAST GERMANIC, NORTH GERMANIC and EAST GERMANIC. EAST GERMANIC includes a sub branch: The Gothic language. NORTH GERMANIC consists of two sub branches, namely: Old West Norse/Old Scandinavian and Old East Norse. There are detailed descriptions of corresponding sub branches under each of the two sub branches. West Germanic consists of three sub branches, namely: Anglo Frisian, Low German and High German. This map shows the distribution of the Germanic language family in different countries and regions, as well as the historical and cultural connections between these languages, through regional division.
