Piano basics
Preparation before studying
1. Prepare to sit
Sitting posture, I believe everyone is familiar with it
2. Adjust the height of the piano bench
Can be adjusted according to your own height
Time signature
4/4
The representation on the right uses quarter notes (quarter notes will be learned later) as one beat.
The one on the left means there are four beats in each measure.
2/4
can be understood in the same way
bar lines and bars
bar line
Bar lines are used to divide bars. I will use spaces to replace bar lines in the future.
Section
A section is a piece of content, such as XXXX XXXX, every four X's is a section
In addition, sections can be divided freely, such as XXX XXX, every three X's is a section
Get to know the musical notation
The staff is composed of five lines and four spaces. Notes can be written on the lines or in the spaces. If you need to express notes with higher or lower pitches, you can add a few more small horizontal lines above or below the staff, so there are one room above, one line above, one room below, and one line below.
The staff is different from the simplified musical notation. Reading the staff is more complicated, while the simplified musical notation is simpler than the musical notation, but the chords are easier to identify in the staff than the simplified musical notation.
staff
treble clef
As the name suggests, the notes on the treble clef are higher, and middle C has a line under the treble clef.
bass clef
The bass clef is the opposite of the treble clef, with middle C adding a line above the bass clef.
big staff
The major clef will combine the treble clef and the bass clef, and there will be braces connecting the two staves on the leftmost side.
quarter note
Quarter notes are composed of a solid head and a stem.
Its duration is 1 beat.
Center C
He added a line above and below the right-hand staff, in the center of the piano (that is, C4, which is 1 in simplified notation)
Try the first song
Simplified musical notation: 4/4 1111 1111
DE, children's song exercises, rests, etudes
Meet D and E
D is one space to the right of center C, represented by 2
E is one space to the right of D, represented by 3
Come on a children's song
Simplified musical notation: 4/4 321 Kong 321 Kong 1122 321 Kong
Learn rests
Remember that children's song? The "empty" inside is the rest symbol
Quarter rest: a space, which can be represented by 0, and the duration is one beat
Two-part rest: two spaces, which can be represented by 00, and the duration is two beats (rests in simplified musical notation cannot be written as increasing time lines)
Full rest: four spaces, which can be represented by 0000, and the duration is four beats (rest in the entire measure)
There are many more rests, which you will learn in the future, so I won’t mention them here.
Recognize half notes
A half note is composed of a hollow note head plus a stem
Its duration is two beats, expressed in simplified musical notation like this: X-
Note that there is another way to write it: two quarter notes are connected by a line (the two notes are of the same pitch)
Practice the following songs
4/4 3122 001-2200
Explanation: Pay attention to rests and half notes. Remember: they rest for one beat and play for two beats respectively!
3/4 22-300 123 122
Explanation: Don’t be anxious, play slowly according to the knowledge mentioned above!
4/4 0000 2-00 1321
Explanation: A full rest appears, and the entire section needs to rest!
This will be of great help to your subsequent studies

Meet F and G
F is to the right of E, represented by 4
G is to the right of F, represented by 5
Recognize whole notes and eighth notes
A whole note consists of a hollow note head, and its duration is 4 beats (playing one measure)
The eighth note consists of a solid head, stem and tail, and its duration is 0.5 beat (half beat) (expressed as X/8)
Get to know the first rhythm pattern: syncopation
Syncopations are as follows: 2 2/8 2
Comprehensive exercise 1
4/4 1--- 2341 5542 2-14 5431
learn bass
Get to know bass C
Bass C is one octave lower than middle C. In the staff, it is usually on the bass clef.
Expression method and etude for bass C
Representation of bass C: -1
Etudes: 4/4 -1 1/8 -1 1
About C (including bass C, middle C, etc.)
