Check the installation location, height, quantity, operating distance, electrical standards and other relevant regulations of fire alarm controllers, fire detectors and hand alarms according to the design documents. Complete the fire log form.

Fire alarm controller
1. Check whether the quantity, model, specifications and design documents of the fire alarm controller are consistent;
Fire alarm controller installation requirements:
① When installed on the wall, the height of the main display screen should be 1.5m~1.8m, and the front operating distance should not be less than 1.2m;
② When installed on the floor, the bottom edge should be 0.1m~0.2m higher than the ground;
③ Whether the main power supply of the controller is directly connected to the fire power supply, and the use of plugs is strictly prohibited.

2. Check whether the number, model, specifications of fire detectors are consistent with the design documents;
Fire detector installation requirements:
① At least one point-type fire detector should be installed in each area within the detection area;
Point-type fire detectors are suitable for placement on the ceiling of inner walkways with a width less than 3m. The spacing between temperature-sensing fire detectors should not exceed 10m, and the spacing between smoke-sensing fire detectors should not exceed 15m;
②Linear fire detectors should adopt contact arrangement to protect cables, stacks, etc.;
The length of the detection area between the linear beam fire detector transmitter and receiver should not exceed 100m.

3. Check whether the number, model, specifications of manual fire alarm buttons are consistent with the design documents;
Manual fire alarm button installation requirements:
①At least one manual fire alarm button should be installed in each fire zone;
The walking distance from any location in a fire protection zone to the nearest manual fire alarm button shall not exceed 30m.
②When installed on the wall, the height of the bottom edge from the ground should be 1.3.~1.5m.

Fire alarm installation requirements:
① Fire alarms should be installed evenly in each alarm area, and the sound pressure level should not be less than 60dB;
②When installed on the wall, the height of the bottom edge from the ground should be greater than 2.2m.
Functional testing of automatic fire alarm system components
Point type smoke (temperature) detector: Use a smoke gun to continuously add smoke to the detector, check the status of the detector's alarm confirmation light, clear the smoke, reset the fire alarm controller, and check the status of the detector's alarm confirmation light. Use a hair dryer to continuously heat the detector and check whether the detector's alarm confirmation light is on.

1) Smoke test
① Use the experimental smoke gun to continuously apply experimental smoke to the detector, and check whether the detector alarm confirmation light is on;
② Clear the smoke, reset the fire alarm controller, and check the detector alarm confirmation light;
2)Temperature test
① Use a hair dryer to continuously heat the detector and check whether the detector’s alarm confirmation light is on;
② Remove the heat source, reset the fire alarm controller, and check the detector alarm confirmation light;
Manual fire alarm button
①Trigger the manual fire alarm button and check the lighting status of the alarm confirmation light;
②Reset the manual fire alarm button and fire alarm controller, and check the alarm confirmation light of the manual fire alarm button;

Wet and Dry Automatic Sprinkler System Component Inspection
Oral description: According to the design documents, check whether the quantity, specifications, models and device positions of the system pipe network, nozzles, alarm valve groups, water flow indicators, pressure switches, and terminal water testing devices are consistent.
Assessment points
1. Check whether the quantity, specification, model and installation location of the system pipe network are consistent with the design documents;
2. Check whether the number, specification, model and installation position of sprinkler heads are consistent with the design documents (the number of spare sprinkler heads of different specifications shall not be less than 1% of the total number of installations, and shall not be less than 10)
3. Check whether the quantity, specification, model and installation position of the alarm valve group are consistent with the design documents;
4. Check whether the quantity, specification, model and installation location of water flow indicators, pressure switches, terminal water testing devices, etc. are consistent with the design documents.
Functional testing of wet and dry automatic sprinkler system components and testing of terminal water testing devices
Oral description: Functional test of wet dry automatic sprinkler system components: Confirm that each pipeline valve is in a normal opening and closing state, the electrical control cabinet is in "manual" state, open the alarm test valve, and the corresponding time and sound pressure level of the hydraulic alarm should be In compliance with relevant regulations, close the alarm bell test valve to remove the remaining water, return the electrical control cabinet to the "automatic" state, check the signal feedback, and perform the reset operation. Fill out the test record form.
Assessment points
1. Close the alarm pipeline control valve, open the alarm bell test valve, and use a stopwatch to record the time from opening the valve to the alarm bell ringing (the hydraulic alarm bell for wet systems should sound an alarm within 5 to 90 seconds, and the hydraulic alarm bell for dry systems should sound within 5 to 90 seconds. Alarm bell will sound within 15s)
Use a sound level meter to measure the pressure level of the hydraulic alarm bell (the alarm sound pressure level at a distance of 3m from the hydraulic alarm bell is not less than 70dB)
2. Close the alarm bell test valve to remove the remaining water, return the electrical control cabinet to the "automatic" state, check the signal feedback, and perform the reset operation.
3. Confirm that each pipeline valve in the system is in normal opening and closing state; the fire pump electrical control cabinet is in "automatic" state; read the pressure gauge reading of the alarm valve group;
4. Terminal water test function test
①Slowly open the control valve of the terminal water testing device and check the water flow conditions and changes in the pressure gauge (the water outlet pressure at the terminal water testing device is not less than 0.05MPa);
② Check the hydraulic alarm bell and the starting status of the fire water pump (the fire water pump should automatically start within 5 minutes after turning on the terminal water testing device);
③Check the action signals and feedback signals of the water flow indicator, pressure switch, and fire water pump;
Stop the fire water pump, close the terminal water testing device, and perform reset operations.
Oral: Test method for air supply function of air pressure maintenance device of dry automatic sprinkler system
Slowly open the control valve of the terminal water testing device or the exhaust test valve or the water injection valve. After the air compressor starts, close the control valve of the terminal water testing device, check the operation of the air compressor, and fill in the test record form.
