Graphics: refers to the surface patterns and interface patterns of graphics materials in shading mode Which fills the drawing and model options within the pattern. The drawing changes scale as the drawing is enlarged and reduced, but the model does not. Here, the model is selected for the outer surface, and the drawing is selected for the inner interface (actually, it is not very clear here and needs to be studied in the future)
Appearance: Mainly used for rendering appearance settings
Start drawing the wall: Architecture - Wall - Select the wall type edited in the previous step. Make sure you select a straight line and start drawing the wall.
Select the height, F2 (currently setting the wall height in the view of F1, it will naturally go from F1 to F2), and the center line of the core layer.
After drawing, click on the default 3D view to display it in coloring. You can set the elevation of the wall on the properties

Add part of the curtain wall of the office building
Building - Wall (Building) - Wall Properties (Select Curtain Wall) - Change the name and other properties remain unchanged
There is no way to set the center line of the curtain wall
Draw the curtain wall directly on the wall: You need to check Embed in the properties
Define and draw stacked walls
Building - Wall (Building) - Edit Properties (Basic Wall Type (modify wall thickness to 500mm)) - Set the required basic walls for 2 sections respectively
A stacked wall is actually a combination of multiple basic walls: Building wall properties - stacked walls - edit properties editing components - how many layers of walls to insert and how many layers (select from the previously edited basic walls)
When drawing, you must choose the height to reach. If it is lower than the minimum height of the stacked wall, it will not be drawn.
Regarding whether two walls can be directly connected: right-click and allow the connection, the two walls will be connected to each other, if not allowed, they will not. In the drawing, it is mainly reflected in the fact that it is not allowed to connect the intersection of two walls so that the head of the two walls can be seen. Those that are allowed to connect intersect together. (We look forward to learning more about the differences in construction techniques)
Edit wall outline
You need to switch to the elevation view for editing - click on the element to be edited - select Edit Profile in the Modify tab
Make sure that the drawn wall outline is closed

About multiple alignment options in Alignment
Arrange other doors and windows
Select the window elements and window marks and copy them to the clipboard. When pasting, you will find that they are darkened when aligned with the selected elevation and lightened when aligned with the selected view. At this time, choose to align with the selected view (same as aligning with the selected elevation) Because the window mark belongs to the annotation, when the annotation is selected, the elevation alignment will be darkened and the view alignment will be brightened. If you single-select a window element, it will be brightened when aligned with the elevation and darkened when aligned with the view.
Manually mesh curtain walls
Select the view style as shaded mode (look for it at the bottom of the window)
Select a curtain wall and click on the isolation element (find it at the bottom of the window) - select the building tab - component panel - curtain wall grid - place panel - all segments - start drawing the curtain wall grid ——One paragraph——It will place the grid in the middle of the grid drawn above
Simply trim the curtain wall line segments: Click on a drawn curtain wall line and select Add/Delete Line Segments in the curtain wall grid to trim the curtain wall line segments.
Set up curtain wall panels
Click to select a divided curtain wall. Click it to turn it white and modify other properties of the layer in the properties panel. For example, change to a curtain wall door or replace it with a basic wall
Add curtain wall mullions
Architecture-Construction-Verticality-Select all grid lines in the Placement panel (all grids will be vertically added together when clicked)
Click on the drawn upright, and a small cross-shaped symbol will appear. Click it to switch whether the vertical cutting direction is vertical and interrupted by horizontal ones, or whether the vertical cutting direction is interrupted by vertical ones. Click on the entire curtain wall - edit type - select the link conditions of the curtain wall, you can change the link method of the entire curtain wall at one time, no longer need to click the cross symbol individually
Verticals that do not have part of the curtain wall need to be deleted (for example, verticals embedded in the edge of the wall in the curtain wall are also generated when verticals are added to all grids and need to be deleted)
Automatically modify curtain walls
For curtain walls with certain intervals, you can directly edit the horizontal grid and vertical grid in the properties to divide the curtain wall.
Click on a curtain wall (operating in the 3D view will make it clearer) and a diamond-shaped Tian symbol will appear. Click and an origin coordinate will appear. Assume that the front curtain wall is set with a fixed interval of 3000 horizontally and 3600 vertically. Then this length will be used as the origin to extend 3000 and cut like this. For example, the width of 5000 will be divided into 3000 from the origin to the cutting point. From this cutting point to the next cutting point, it will be 2000, and the same is true in the vertical direction. You can drag the origin coordinates to control the cutting method. For example, 5000 width can be divided into two 2500 by setting the origin in the middle.
If you want to enable temporary dimensioning and modify the distance between the grid lines of the curtain wall, you need to click on the two small circle symbols displayed behind the curtain wall to unlock and modify it.
About panels: After selecting a curtain wall, click its attribute editing type and select the panel type in the structure (the type selected here is the newly loaded family)
About corner stiffening: used where two curtain walls intersect
When drawing in the front, do not set the vertical edges to be straight.
Choose L-shaped upright to carry out
Use the match type attribute tool
In fact, the class is based on the format brush, but it can only match before the same type of graphics elements. For example, windows can only match windows.
Modify - Clipboard - Match Type Tool
Click Select Multiple in the multiple panels above to match multiple ones at the same time. After selecting, click Finish.

22Use design options
Apply design options
Management - Design options - New options - Edit selected items - Draw primitives on this gray surface view - After drawing - Management - Design options - Complete editing
After setting it up, when you select the graphic visibility icon, the design options column will appear (see notes) - you can switch between two plans (two different wall layouts in the interior)
When applying one of the plans, you need to update the details list and select the applied plan.
Add existing elements to an existing scheme: Select an element - Manage - Design Options - Add to Set
Set the main option and then accept the main option (other options will then be deleted)
23Working together
use link
Insert - link to revit (the original drawing has a pipeline model, and the building structure model is linked in)
Collaboration - Collision Checking - Run Collision Checking
Manage linked models
Open the blank body - link the revit project into it (position and select the origin - origin)
After importing the revit link, the visibility view module has an additional revit link option.
Replication and monitoring
Collaboration - Copy monitoring - Select the linked file button - Select the linked file - Tool panel - Options (attribute editing and see comments) - Select copy (check multiple, here mainly copy the wall)
Note: After the above operation is completed, a small icon will appear (see the notes for the small envelope-like icon) to indicate whether the linked wall is consistent with the corresponding one.
Select Monitor—. Select the corresponding components of the link and topic and monitor the relative relationship between the two
Update revit link: Manage-Manage Link-Update Link
Project base points and measurement points
In the visibility view, under Site, check Measurement Points and Project Base Points
If you move the base point of the project, the project will follow the movement and the number will not change (the trimming item will not move if you check it). If you move the measurement point number, the item will not move (the trimming number will not move if you check it).
Use shared coordinates
Two pictures with different positions of the base points. Linked together using Revit. The way the origin is with the origin, their two base points will coincide.
Management - Coordinates - Publish coordinates
