The patient, female, 109 years old, 45kg, was admitted to the hospital because of "pain after falling and being unable to stand". The X-ray showed "left femoral intertrochanteric fracture" and "artificial hemi-hip replacement surgery" was planned. During the preoperative visit, the patient was bedridden, apathetic, and unable to cooperate with coughing and sputum production. Continuous nasal cannula oxygen inhalation was 2L/min, pulse oxygen saturation was 98%, blood pressure was 141/60mmHg, heart rate was 70bom, and breathing was 18bpm. Electrocardiogram: normal; chest X-ray: a little inflammation of the lower tongue segment of the left lung; echocardiogram: slightly larger left atrium, mild aortic valve insufficiency, mild to moderate tricuspid valve regurgitation; ASA grade III.
