MindMap Gallery Efficient memory
Efficient memory methods include edge-to-edge memory, episodic memory, interval memory, and shoebox memory. What is episodic memory? Episodic memory is an "autobiographical" subjective memory that may be unique to humans and can be clearly pointed out by being linked to a specific time, place, associated emotions, and other related knowledge in the past. Memory, a collection of personal experiences that occurred at a specific time and place in the past.

benefit
The method of listening and watching is one of the most efficient ways to memorize. The memory efficiency can reach about 70%. Listening and watching at the same time can concentrate your attention and carry out high-intensity and efficient memory. A classmate of mine once compared it to "carpet bombing reading." After listening to it ten times, every corner of the book will become familiar. Contents that were originally impossible to understand will become suddenly clear because the brain can flexibly derive each other.
method
Split syllables, see with your eyes, listen with your ears, follow your hands with your mouth, and use phonetic symbols to read the standard pronunciation

What is episodic memory
Episodic memory is an "autobiographical" subjective memory that may be unique to humans and can be clearly pointed out by being linked to a specific time, place, associated emotions, and other related knowledge in the past. spaced memory
The spaced review method, also known as the periodic review method, reviews in such a way that the time interval between each review is the same. The amount of daily tasks is fixed, which will not cause a backlog effect of learning tasks. It is suitable for liberal arts examinations and long-term memory.
in principle
The review period should not be too long, about half a month is optimal, and should not exceed one month.
The number of times you review is very important. Review it more than 7 times for liberal arts studies and more than 3 times for science subjects.
Avoid reviewing too carefully on the first pass. When preparing for liberal arts exams, many students always memorize the book after thinking about it once. This is not advisable. It is easy to make the review cycle very long, and the later ones have been forgotten before being memorized to the early ones. After repeating it, you will find that you have not remembered anything.
The tasks must be clear each time and are usually different. For example, the first pass is to understand the concepts and organize the logical framework of the chapters; the second pass is to highlight the key contents and simply memorize key words; the third pass is to recite the test passages, etc. Arrange tasks from shallow to deep, and do not study aimlessly.
method
Spread the learning material over weeks or months.
Shoe box memory method
Prepare
Make a card
Prepare a shoe box and divide it into seven compartments
method
Day 1
After memorizing a certain number of cards, put the cards into the first grid
Day 2
Memorize the words in the first grid first, and put the words you remember after review into the second grid. The words you haven’t memorized will still stay in the first grid.
3rd day
Repeat day 2
