Timeline of Zhangjiakou project design work content
September 5, 2023
The design institute provides communication information with the owner in the early stage of the project, including early stage plan drawings and renderings. At this time, design management work begins to intervene. Since the preliminary effects and drawings are quite different from the actual styles and practices, we coordinated with the design institute to adjust the effects and drawings and prepared for confirmation with the owner.
September 11
The owner confirms the first version of the renderings and plans
September 20
The design institute provided the first version of construction drawings, and we prepared a material sample list based on the construction drawings. Considering the appearance of the facade and the convenience of subsequent production and processing of the box, the renderings will be adjusted twice and confirmed with the owner.
September 22
The owner confirms the final version of the renderings
September 25
The content of the contract with the owner has changed, resulting in adjustments to the construction scope. We will simultaneously coordinate with the design institute to adjust the construction drawings.
September 26
We received feedback from colleagues on site that since the site had already laid the foundation based on the first version of the plan, the construction drawings released on the 20th were inconsistent with the actual situation. Therefore, we coordinated with the design institute to readjust the construction drawings of each major and completed the adjustment to the final version of the construction drawings on the same day. .
September 27
We hosted an internal design briefing meeting for the final version of construction drawings, renderings and sample approval sheets, and clarified some construction details not mentioned in the construction drawings.
October 9
We went to the site with marketing and engineering colleagues to verify the situation and found that the owner had laid out the water and electricity pipelines according to the preliminary construction drawings (the water and electricity drawings that the design institute initially communicated with the owner in August), so the factory was notified to adjust the reserved water and electricity construction in the box, and at the same time Coordinate with the design institute to replace and modify the September 27 version of the construction drawings
October 26
Design institute releases final version of construction drawings
October 29
Engineering colleagues reported that there was a big discrepancy between the actual color of the on-site wall panels and the color of the renderings. The owner’s preliminary opinion from the construction leader required us to adjust the color deviation so that the color of the wall panels and the frame would be consistent. After unifying our internal opinions, we went to the site with our market colleagues to communicate and negotiate with the owners on November 2. On November 4, I received a reply from the owner, indicating that he recognized the color difference of the wall panels and would proceed with normal construction.
November 1
Engineering colleagues reported that the opening of the left and right leaves of some doors was inconsistent with the drawings. After consultation with the owner, they were required to follow the opening direction of the drawing, so the manufacturer was notified to replace the door leaf. The door leaf adjustment work was completed on November 14th.
