Steady-state assumption

The steady-state assumption has wide applications in chemical reaction kinetics, bioengineering, and control systems. It assumes that under certain conditions, certain variables of the system reach a stable state, simplifying the problem. However, the steady-state assumption also has limitations, such as restricted applicability and the possibility of ignoring certain dynamic processes. Based on the steady-state assumption, mathematical models can be established and solved to reveal the steady-state characteristics of the system.
