MindMap Gallery Introduction to Acrylonitrile
Acrylonitrile is a colorless transparent liquid with a special odor, having a melting point of -83°C and a boiling point of 77-79°C. It is chemically reactive, prone to polymerization and flammable, capable of reacting with various organics. It has significant industrial applications, primarily in the manufacture of synthetic fibers (such as acrylic fiber), synthetic rubber, and plastics. The primary production method of acrylonitrile is the propylene ammoxidation process.
