MindMap Gallery Production method of acrylonitrile
Acrylonitrile is produced primarily through methods such as propene ammoxidation, acetylene-hydrogen cyanide addition, and biobased synthesis. The propene ammoxidation process utilizes propene, ammonia, and oxygen to produce acrylonitrile in the presence of a catalyst, with readily available feedstock and mild reaction conditions. The acetylene-hydrogen cyanide addition method produces acrylonitrile through the addition of acetylene and hydrogen cyanide, resulting in high product purity but higher costs. Biobased synthesis utilizes renewable resources as feedstock, offering environmental and sustainable advantages, but current technology is still immature. When selecting a production method, factors such as raw material cost, product purity, environmental impact, and technological advancements must be considered comprehensively.
