Dry information | Process control (IPQc) inspection skills
Preface
: IPQC is process control, which refers to the quality control of products from the input of materials into production to the final packaging of the product. IPQC is also called in-process quality control, or quality control in the production process. The full English name is Input Process Quality Control. Since the inspection method adopted by IPQC is patrol inspection between various processes in the production process, it is also called patrol inspection. So how to implement the inspection, let’s look at the analysis.
IPQC and its working characteristics
1. What is IPQC?
IPQC is manufacturing process quality control. IPQC generally refers to process patrol inspection, which refers to the use of patrol methods to regularly check and confirm whether process parameters, job changes, standards used, etc. meet the requirements during the product manufacturing process, record the inspection status, and perform necessary control and supervision .
Patrol inspection: Carry out inspections in turns according to designated items when designated.
Process: specifically refers to the manufacturing process of a product
2. IPQC work characteristics
① Deal with process abnormalities immediately
② Seek truth from facts and provide feedback on non-compliance matters
IPQC should stand on an independent and impartial basis and objectively report non-compliance matters:
Independence: that is, being able to work independently without being disturbed by external factors during the work process.
Justice: It means taking the system as the criterion, being impartial and seeking truth from facts.
Objectivity: Seeing is believing, and there must be evidence to discuss things.
③Thoroughly follow up on bad matters
Keep pursuing the problems that arise until they are resolved satisfactorily.
3. IP0C operation requirements
Look, move, and check three times:
"One look" means "look frequently".
"Second movement" refers to manual inspection and speaking using the mouth.
The "three inspections" include inspection of incoming materials, inspection of process operations, and inspection of products.
First things and points to note
1. What is the first inspection?
First inspection refers to the inspection of the first piece (usually 3-5Pcs) before production. Its purpose is to prevent systemic risks from causing batch defects (such as poor workmanship, poor equipment or tooling, poor incoming materials, and poor operations) .
2. Problems that are likely to occur during the first inspection
A. Only focusing on products, not paying attention to incoming materials, tooling, process, structure and performance testing issues.
B. The first inspection is passed but the first inspection procedure is not completed. There is no first inspection report, which makes it impossible to trace and analyze the causes when problems occur.
C. Failure to pass the first inspection was not reported immediately.
4. Risk control of first inspection
①After the first inspection, the first batch of 50-100pcs products will be tracked and re-inspected.
®Abnormalities in the first inspection and lack of cooperation from relevant departments must be reported immediately and step by step until the problem is resolved.
®If problems are discovered during the inspection, first check the relevant records of the first inspection and conduct a timely re-inspection if necessary.
3. Inspection and points of attention
1. What is inspection?
Inspection refers to the regular inspection of designated items after the product passes the first inspection.
2. Key points for inspection implementation
① The first inspection must be qualified and the procedures are complete:
②The focus of the inspection is: new products, new equipment and tooling, new incoming materials and abnormal incoming materials (such as reviewed materials), new employees, and changes in unstable processes, such as production Repair the machine midway, replace materials, change processes, replace people, debug equipment, etc.
3. Problems that are prone to occur during inspections
A. The exception has not been resolved. The last exception was not closed. I forgot to confirm the improvement effect and started production again. The production of the previous exception that was not resolved should be rejected and reported immediately.
B. The real cause of the abnormality has not been found, and the source of the defect is still producing defective products.
C. Only focusing on product defects and not paying attention to incoming materials and workmanship, equipment and tooling management and maintenance.
D. Only focusing on defects in samples taken during inspections and not monitoring defects in transfer sequences.
E. Only pay attention to the defective rate and not the distribution of defects.
"Only focus on key processes and not on general processes.
G. Insufficient monitoring and understanding of the full inspection station.
4. Risk control of inspections
① Focus on "new": new people, new machines, new processes, new products, and new materials.
② Increase the frequency of key workstations and strictly control them. General workstations should follow the normal frequency, and no one should be missing.
③ Focus on monitoring the full inspection station, trace the problems at the full inspection station to the specific job position, trace the source from the back to the front, and control it is a way to get twice the result with half the effort.
④ Regularly conducting random inspections of transferred products according to the sampling plan is the best way to re-inspect the true distribution of batch quantities and defects. It is easy to find problems that cannot be found even in full inspections. It is the best way to truly and effectively cross-control sampling risks. Good idea.
⑤ When problems are discovered, the next process must be notified in time so that the next process can assist in prevention and control. Temporary changes should also be notified in a timely manner.
4. Quality abnormalities and their handling
1. Conditions for abnormal quality
① The defective rate exceeds the control target (depending on the different development levels of products and quality, determined by the supervisor or above).
②Meet the conditions for differentiation in the SPC system.
③The actual number of scraps or losses is large and a response is required.
④ Failed the first inspection or still failed the first inspection after adjustment. (After failing the first inspection, adjustments must be made before the first article can be produced again. Without any adjustments to machines, personnel, operations, and processes, passing the first inspection again may be an illusion. It cannot be ruled out that problems may occur during mass production and the first product cannot be achieved. (Purpose of inspection!)
2. Problems that may easily arise in quality abnormality management
① It is easy to ignore the above "②③④" items on site.
② Quality inspection personnel tend to ignore reports on abnormal problems in processes, incoming materials, operations, and equipment, and only focus on abnormalities in products and defective rates.
③Only focus on the defective rate and not the distribution of defects.
3.IPQC handling of abnormal quality
① It must be discovered in time, detected early, and the report must be accurate.
② Before issuing a report, the 5w2H elements must be clearly verified.
③ Communicate effectively with the production site management to implement shutdown or production shutdown (according to authority requirements).
④ It is necessary to track the progress and effectiveness of exception reports, and report immediately or skip reports when they are invalid or reissued.
⑤ Be fully prepared, provide necessary data support, prove the data before and after the abnormality and proof of improvement.
5. How to control sampling risk
Due to the fluctuation of product quality within a batch and the contingency of sample selection, misjudgment is inevitable. This risk of misjudgment is called sampling risk.
1. Control of sampling risk
①The number of samples should be as close as possible to the number of batches.
② During the inspection, if the number of samples (usually 5pcs/hour/each station) cannot be determined, the number of samples can be expanded or multiple samplings can be made and the team leader can be asked to re-inspect.
③According to the characteristics of different sampling objects, adopt appropriate sampling methods, and if necessary, use two or more sampling methods to play the role of self-reinspection. (Especially suitable for batch inspection and judgment such as reordering)
6. Quality "Three Character Classic"
1. "Three Don'ts" of Quality Management
Unqualified raw materials are not allowed to be put into production, unqualified semi-finished products are not allowed to flow into the next process, and unqualified products are not allowed to leave the factory.
2. "Three processes" of production site management
Review the previous process, check this process, and serve the next process with high quality and efficiency.
3. Quality inspection "three inspections"
Self-inspection, mutual inspection, special inspection.
4. When a quality accident occurs, "three analyzes" must be carried out
Analyze the causes of the accident, analyze the hazards of the accident, and analyze the measures that should be taken.
5. When a quality accident occurs, "three analyzes" must be carried out and the "three no-goes" must be adhered to.
If the reasons are unclear, we will not let them go. If our responsibilities are unclear, we will not let them go. If the measures are not implemented, we will not let them go.
6. Production employees should adhere to three presses and one control during the production process."
Control the defective rate according to drawings, processes and standards.
7. To do a good job in inspection, you should have three good people.”
Product quality inspector, quality first propagandist, and production technology counselor.
8. While the inspector is a good "three members", he must also achieve three satisfactions."
The employees are satisfied with the service attitude, the process of the inspected products is satisfied, and the users of the factory products are satisfied.
