MindMap Gallery Food additive: production method of titanium dioxide
The production method of food-grade titanium dioxide involves raw material selection, sulfuric acid treatment, hydrolysis precipitation, calcination process, and crushing and screening. High-purity ilmenite or titanium dioxide powder is used as raw material and reacted with sulfuric acid to generate titanium sulfate solution, which is then hydrolyzed to generate titanium hydroxide precipitate. The precipitate is calcined to obtain titanium dioxide, which is finally crushed and screened to the desired particle size. The entire process ensures product purity and safety to meet food-grade requirements.
