MindMap Gallery Food additive: Preparation method of sodium magnesium silicate
The preparation method of sodium magnesium silicate as a food additive mainly includes steps such as raw material mixing, pH adjustment, precipitation and separation, washing and drying, as well as crushing and sieving. Firstly, sodium silicate, magnesium chloride, and an appropriate amount of water are mixed uniformly. Then, a pH adjuster is used to adjust the pH of the solution to promote the reaction between sodium silicate and magnesium chloride to form sodium magnesium silicate. Next, under suitable reaction conditions, sodium magnesium silicate precipitates out and is separated from the solution by filtration. Subsequently, the precipitate is washed with clean water to remove impurities adhering to its surface and dried. Finally, the dried product is crushed to the required particle size and sieved to obtain a uniform particle size product.
