MindMap Gallery Food additive: production method of titanium dioxide powder
The production method of titanium dioxide powder involves raw material preparation, sulfuric acid treatment, hydrolysis and precipitation, calcination and crushing, screening and classification, as well as packaging and storage. High-quality ilmenite or rutile is first selected as the raw material. It is then treated with sulfuric acid to generate a titanium sulfate solution. The pH of the solution is adjusted to cause hydrolysis of titanium sulfate, forming titanium hydroxide precipitate. The titanium hydroxide is then calcined to convert it into titanium dioxide and crushed. Subsequently, vibration screening is used for particle size classification to ensure product uniformity. Finally, moisture-proof and light-proof packaging is conducted to ensure the quality and stability of the titanium dioxide powder.
