Ancient Indian mathematicians made remarkable contributions to the field of mathematics. From the earliest Vedic texts, we can find the earliest records of mathematics. Aryabhatta calculated the value of π and introduced the concept of algebraic equations. Brahmagupta conducted in-depth research in algebra and geometry, and was the first to introduce the concept of negative numbers. Siddhartha, on the other hand, made breakthroughs in the concept of infinitesimals and is considered a pioneer of calculus.
