Regulation of nuclear factor kappa B signaling pathway

The nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) signaling pathway plays a central role in inflammation, immune responses, and cell survival. Its regulatory mechanisms are complex, involving interactions among various protein kinases, ubiquitin ligases, and transcriptional coactivators. Aberrant activation of NF-κB is associated with multiple diseases, such as autoimmune disorders, cancer, and inflammatory conditions. Therefore, modulating the NF-κB pathway has become a key strategy for treating these diseases. By inhibiting NF-κB activity or promoting the restoration of its normal function, drugs can reduce inflammatory responses, promote tissue repair, and alleviate disease symptoms.
