Objective: Security to ascertain occupancy status of residential room.

An Override notification alert appears when attempting to re-program a new or expired guest card. This is causing uncertainty about who is in a room and a potential breach. Certain occupants have reported being unable to enter their rooms due to a card problem. Upon discovering a red card assigned to the access point, additional inquiry was initiated. Security personnel are requested to go to the designated room and confirm whether it's occupied or not.

Reception to notify duty security officer of the need to conduct a ''Room Check''. Security to record details of ESS requester and person providing approval within occurrence log.

Security to acertain whether an existing occupant resides within room.

Upon establishing occupancy status, security contacts reception and provides update. Security ensures information is recorded within DOL.
