Huniu is the daughter of a rogue capitalist with a distinctive personality. She has a tiger-like head and an ugly appearance. The novel says that she is like a big black tower, unkind, vulgar and fierce. She is a somewhat contradictory character in the book. On the one hand, she is the daughter of a rich man, but on the other hand, she is the wife of a coachman. She is aggressive with others. In Xiangzi's words, she is good as a buddy, but it is difficult to treat her as a good friend. She treats him as a woman and is unreasonable to outsiders, but to Xiangzi, she does love him sincerely. She wants to find in Xiangzi the youth that was deprived of her by her selfish father.

The sub-theme Ren Ren is the boss of the car dealership, he is harsh and is Xiangzi’s employer. Pao Ge, a figure in the old society, reformed and opened a car park. He was an upright man with a strong personality and never wanted to lose face in the field.
