Same Province/Territory: Pass a Board of Directors Resolution approving the change of address.

Different Province/Territory: Pass a Special Resolution by Shareholders approving the change of registered office.

Same Province/Territory: Prepare the Notice of Change of Address (Form 3).

Different Province/Territory: Prepare the Articles of Amendment (Form 4).

Same Province/Territory: File Notice of Change of Address (Form 3) with Corporations Canada.

Different Province/Territory: File Articles of Amendment (Form 4) with Corporations Canada.

Form 3 (Change within Province): Ensure payment of applicable fees (if any).

Form 4 (Change across Provinces): Pay the fee for filing Articles of Amendment.

Update the company’s minute book with the new registered office address.

Update any internal documents and notify relevant stakeholders (banks, creditors, etc.).

Notify the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) of the change of address.

Update the address with provincial/territorial tax authorities, if applicable.
