Basic 8
1. Arm Bar
Dip the hand down to the outside of the grab hand, keeping the forearm pressed against the thumb and break it. Step in with the same foot and arm bar.
2. Shoulder Throw
Reach under with the opposite hand and grab the thumb. Pull the hand that is being grabbed out and grab the wrist. Step inside with a triangle step and lower the body and keep it close.
3. Shoulder Throw Follow Through
Pass Under, Outside Lead. Use the same footwork as #2. Instead of stepping in a triangle step to throw, keep going and follow through under the arm. Continue to twist the wrist with an outside lead.
4. Outside Wrist Grab
Spin Elbow and Arm Bar. Grab the wrist with the opposite hand and lock with a claw grip. Step forward and under the arm with the opposite foot followed by a spinning elbow strike. Then, with the same arm, apply an arm bar.
5. Change Over Inner Wrist Lock
Raise the left hand up as if you were looking in the mirror. Reach under the hand and grab the thumb and outside lead with a right foot triangle step.
6. Hip Throw / Ogoshi
Left hand wristlock with an outside lead pulling the arm across the chest. Take the right arm and grab around the wrist to the pressure point. Step in with the right foot with the legs bent and toss.
7. Wrist and Neck
Outside to inside hammer fist strike to the wrist, followed by a sword hand or knife hand to the temple.
8. Sword Arm to the Bicep and Chest
Left foot step out raising the left arm up and outward rolling outside the wrist. Both arms at this time are in a spread eagle position. Then step with the right foot and apply a sword arm strike to the biceps and then thrust forward with the body and forearm strike to the opponent's body.
