Establishing the crew-picture book-recording-track matching-listening-post-production-final review-finished product
The first step: Build a crew. Component the team according to the style of the book and ensure that there are professional people responsible for each link. This is usually done by the co-ordinator of the entire audiobook, that is, the audio producer;
Step 2: Drawing book. Organize the text and label each character to facilitate post-production. Mark the narration and character sounds with colors and other methods. This is usually done by a professional drawing book teacher;
Step 3: Recording according to the lines in the picture book. Large-scale projects will go to the recording studio to be recorded by professional sound engineers. Now many anchors complete this link by themselves;
Step 4: Tracking: Edit the multiple vocal audios recorded separately into one vocal audio according to the correct story line, which is completed by a dedicated tracking teacher;
Step 5: Audition: Check for errors, omissions, word swallowing, mouth-talking, on-track errors, dry sound problems, etc. Excellent listening teachers can also hear the anchors’ sense of drama problems and make corresponding modification suggestions;
Step 6: Post-production Audio post-production, such as adding music, sound effects, etc., is generally completed by professional audio post-production teachers;
Step 7: Final review: Confirm whether the quality of the post-production meets the requirements of the audiobook, list the areas that need to be modified, communicate with the post-production teacher, determine the modification plan, and complete the modifications before the final product is finished;
Step 8: The finished product completes the subsequent series of shelving, operation and other links, which are generally completed by professional operation teachers;
The three steps of tracking, listening, and post-production are highly interactive. Many production crews will also ask the post-production teacher to perform these three functions alone;
