Objective Structured Clinical Examination

OSCE, or Objective Structured Clinical Examination, plays an important role in medical education. OSCE comprehensively assesses the clinical skills and diagnostic abilities of medical students by simulating real-world clinical scenarios. It adopts a multi-station examination method and covers many fields of medicine, such as internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, etc. Medical students are required to complete the examination at each station within a specified time, and each station has a real or simulated case, requiring them to perform medical history collection, physical examination, diagnosis and treatment. The introduction of OSCE not only improves the assessment quality of medical education, but also promotes the cultivation of clinical skills of medical students. With OSCE, medical students can gain a more complete understanding of their clinical abilities and prepare for their future careers. This is a mind map of OSCE. The map contains three main branches: TAKE HISTORY, PHYSICAL EXAM, and NOTE TAKING. Each main branch has a multilevel subbranch description. For those interested in OSCE.
